When Jesus Christ was enthroned as king at the end of the Gentile Times in 1914, the bulk of humanity did not understand it. Only his true disciples did. However, even these few did not correctly understand what would happen after the autumn of 1914.
The First World War had broken out, and that was important evidence about the change of times. But many of those Christians expected that the war would culminate in the predicted battle of the Armageddon, so uncertainty was in their hearts. In fact, it took several years to fully appreciate that the kingly authority of Jesus had begun in 1914 and that since then the events predicted in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 are occurring.
Something similar is happening at the moment. The difference with regards to 1914 is that now the majority of true Christians have not taken into account that 2008 is a year outlined in the Scriptures.

It will be a big shock to many to one day wake up and realize that religious organizations have been forbidden and that law enforcement units hunt down all those who give a witness about God’s Kingdom. But that scenario is not very far from reality.
They might be surprised because of the following:
* Ignorance of the biblical chronology of the covenants related to the 144,000 chosen ones, which suggests that their final sealing occurs in 2008.
* Ignorance of the modern fulfilment of the "four great beasts" of the prophecy of Daniel. Very few have realized that these make up the “Quartet for Peace in the
* Failure to consider the possibility that the periods of 1290 days and 1335 days of the prophecy of Daniel12 have a final fulfilment just before the coming of the Kingdom of God, in addition to the fulfilments in the years 66-70 CE and 1914-1918 CE.
* Having lost sight of the fact that the "disgusting thing causing desolation" will be erected in the context of the prophecy about the fight between the "king of the north" and the "king of the south".
* The failure to associate the creation of Adam with the founding of the first temple, which would facilitate the understanding of the chronological model of the sanctuary.
* A transgression of the organization with regard to the political system sponsored by the "king of the south", which influences the prophetic vision on certain biblical passages.
There are some other things that could affect many who are not yet woken up, but the prophecy gives us light in this regard, and invites us to react properly to what becomes manifest these days:
“And during that time Michael will stand up, the great prince who is standing in behalf of the sons of your people. And there will certainly occur a time of distress such as has not been made to occur since there came to be a nation until that time. And during that time your people will escape, every one who is found written down in the book. 2 And there will be many of those asleep in the ground of dust who will wake up, these to indefinitely lasting life and those to reproaches [and] to indefinitely lasting abhorrence. (Daniel12)
True Christians know who Michael is. He is the Messiah in his heavenly position as sole leader of all the angelic hosts. This "great prince" has been "planted” in behalf of God's people since 1914, and apparently now is the time he "will stand up."
What happens when this occurs? A “time of distress” will occur. This "time of distress" is the same as the "Great Tribulation" that Jesus Christ foretold according to Matthew 24:21.
We also see that as soon as we realize that this “disgusting thing” has been raised up, we have to start to “flee”. This harmonizes with the words of Jesus, who said:
15 “Therefore, when YOU catch sight of the disgusting thing that causes desolation, as spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in a holy place, (let the reader use discernment,) 16 then let those in Ju·de´a begin fleeing to the mountains. 17 Let the man on the housetop not come down to take the goods out of his house; 18 and let the man in the field not return to the house to pick up his outer garment. 19 Woe to the pregnant women and those suckling a baby in those days! 20 Keep praying that YOUR flight may not occur in wintertime, nor on the sabbath day; 21 for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again. 22 In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short (Matthew24).
From the biblical calculations done on this site, we conclude that the "disgusting thing" will "stand in a holy place" in these days of autumn which began on Tishri1 (Sept. 30). Many informed Christians, are now realizing that the change that has occurred with the fall of Wall Street is only the beginning of the change in the international arena. Unfortunately, those who only receive biased information from the news agency of this system are hopeful that things will improve or that the situation is not as bad as it is. These media outfits are a dream machine for those who do not use the discernment necessary for these times.
Jesus knew we would require "discernment" to realize the placing of the "disgusting thing". Unfortunately the propaganda of this world has affected the reasoning of many Christians who consider everything to be true that the "false prophet" Anglo-America is saying. They have not taken into account the possibility that the world stage is the product of a satanic plot to take many by surprise.
If you have not noticed the change yet it is not only your fault. In fact, the prophecy states that the things that would happen as a surprise to many, even within the people of God. Jesus himself exhorted his followers:
34 “But pay attention to yourselves that YOUR hearts never become weighed down with overeating and heavy drinking and anxieties of life, and suddenly that day be instantly upon YOU 35 as a snare. For it will come in upon all those dwelling upon the face of all the earth. 36 Keep awake, then, all the time making supplication that YOU may succeed in escaping all these things that are destined to occur, and in standing before the Son of man.” (Luke21)

Can you not see the change? Think about this again and think: “What do I have to see before I realize the tribulation started?” Would it not be wiser to take action before it is too late?

13 Then Moses said to the people: “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and see the salvation of YHWH, which he will perform for YOU today. For the Egyptians whom YOU do see today YOU will not see again, no, never again. 14 YHWH will himself fight for YOU, and YOU yourselves will be silent.” (Exodus 14:13, 14.)
This is the final battle between the “seed of the Women” and the “seed of the Serpent” predicted in Genesis 3:15.
